It's spring!!

Crikey ..... it's spring!!

What a great time of year, aye??  Sorry about all you folk upover heading toward winter but hey ..... you just had your spring/summer turn and now it's our turn. How good are we at sharing, aye??  You have a go ...... we have a go!!  That's good sharing if ever I heard of it.
Wanna see our spring garden.  Here's some photos Mum took just recently.

Can you see me??

Pretty impressive, aye??  Is that the BEST garden or what??  Well I reckon it's pretty good but I'm only jokin' about it being MY garden.  Those pictures were taken at Leura a few weeks back when we were there. It is someone's garden though and it is IMPRESSIVE. It's not a park or anything. It's just someone's garden.  Our garden's not impressive. Not even a little bit. Mum grows grass pretty well but that's about it. AND it has weeds in it. Lots of weeds. BUT ..... she waters it a lot so it's green.  Green is good, aye??  She can also grow gardenias. They are her very favourite flower. When they come out I'll show you some photos of them. Our Harri has one on top of him. He fertilises it VERY well. I try and do my bit by watering it occasionally but Mum yells at me when I do. What's with her??  I only try to help.  It has the BIGGEST gardenias I've ever seen.Well it did last year. Here's hoping it does the same this year.
These are Mum's thumbs.  Ok the right ones a bit of a mess but it's been through the mill a few times. Nothing green about them, aye??
Thank goodness I've got God's great garden to run in, aye?  Our garden is too small and the grass is full of bindiis so I sure don't want to go running there.  It's bad enough trying to maneuver a spot to 'privacy please' without getting those little beasties in my VERY delicate paws.
Busy morning in God's great garden, aye??

Someone was handing out treats and I didn't wanna miss out.

Crikey they were good AND home made!!

Thought we had ourselves a dead fish or something but no .... it was just an old frond from a tree.

Arrrrrrrrrrr!!  Spring.  Crikey ..... has anyone seen Enid, lately??  Now what made me think of her?  See you blokes ...... I'm off to check out Enid's blog.  I've been away so long she's probably taken off with one of those big black blokes.

Wanna run ..... Love, Charlie.

  1. Lovely gardens!
Growlmy's thumbs are similar...but definitely also not green...more like black coal...

I can just imagine the work to design, and maintain a garden like that.

And Oh to be allowed to be a running loose from a leash!

    1. Pretty crook lookin' thumbs, aye?? Dad told Mum she was mad to put 'em up for peeps to see. He reckoned she should keep 'em in her pocket so Mum took a photo of Dad's thumbs and they compared photos. Dad thought he had pretty good lookin' thumbs till he saw a photo of 'em. He's been walking around with his hands in his pockets ever since. Too funny!!
You can run loose in your backyard can't you Mr JF Sir??? AND it's a good big backyard with lots of interesting things in it. My backyard is just a postage stamp. It is good to get to run on the beach though. There's miles of it!!

    2. Yup, A whole fenced acre...but sheesh, I want to be able to run down to the creek (a mile from here down the road), and charge through that field across the street to see where it ends, and find the crane nesting spot and...and...well, you know!

Enid's in hiding again. She does this often but she ALWAYS comes back.
