I'm NEVER going to see snow!!!!!

Crikey ..... it's snowing at the Blue mountains!!  We were there just the other week. There wasn't any snow then. I'm NEVER going to see snow.  We are home again now. Mum's sister arrived back from overseas so she is taking over from Mum in the looking after of Nan.  It's good to be home but if we didn't come home I would have seen snow. Now I'm NEVER going to see it.  It's even snowing in Queensland today. It only snows in Queensland once in about 87 million years. It's cold!!!  Even here, where I live, it's cold!!  That's MOST unusual.  It only got to 18C yesterday.  Crikey ...... that's positively freezing, aye???   I have to run like the wind at the beach just to get warm. Lucky I can run again, aye??  Here's some pictures to show you how cold it is ...

Well ..... my ears get cold too you know!!!
Ok ..... I knew you'd wanna see 'em!!!
My Mum made this coat. I'm so proud of her. She's no seamstress but with the help of our Jen she made this.  Pretty good, aye??  The snood is detachable.  Whatd'ya reckon Madi??  I know you like a bloke in red.
OMD .... its Miss PPP's the dinosaur.  She gets cold too.
At the river. Winter sunsets are pretty, aye??

Crikey ... this bloke's sure a long way from home, aye??

Wanna run ..... Love, Charlie.

    1. There's nothing hot about that pig. I've been trying to get her BBQ'd for ages now but I'm the only one keen on the idea. Apparently she feels the cold more than I do. Who knew pigs got cold??

    1. I've tried to fatten up Travis. Mum says I'm one of those lucky blokes that can eat whatever I like and never put on an ounce. She's jealous. She only has to look at food and she gets FAT!!!!

  8. It's been pretty cold here too, our high for today is meant to be 17C. Mom broke out the old crochet hook this week and made each of the Italian Greyhound cousins a little scarf to help keep them warm. We're hoping to put up some photos of them modelling them soon.

  12. It only got to 8°C today. Our friend was coming from Sydney today, but had to go back when she got to the Blue Mountains and then go north and AROUND to try to get here. CRAZY. Going to be 0° tonight. You snuggle in that great coat.

We think it's funny that Miss PPPP has a jumper, as well.....

It was about that when we went to the beach this morning. Unheard of up here. Lucky I've got my coat, aye??
Miss PPP's feels the cold more than I do. She sleeps outside. Mind you in a very nice house with lots of blankets and would you believe last night they put an electric heat pad in her bed for her. Now that's one spoilt pig.

As you heard from Bertie, Charlie mate, our summer is fully worse than your winter... that said, it is all relative. Folks here break out the shorts and thongs when it hits 18'C!!! I'sa hoping that OZ has a good dose of the Shiner when I get there in November.

Now then, the cricket is going along nicely (for we Aussies &*>) - though Rogers just got bowled. What a fine innings though... I have to make do with radio only; no free to air viewing here.

Your coat is FABULOUS!!! Mum better watch out or there may be orders rolling in. PPP's is okay too. But yours rocks... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. The cricket is slowly killing Mum. She was sleep deprived from Wimbledon and now the cricket. Does it ever end? November is usually a great month weather wise here so I'd be packing those shorts and thongs if I were you

Did you see the photos of the Hydro Majesticin the snow. Crikey ..... wouldn't you have liked to be there to see that?????

  20. You may look super hunky in that red coat but let me tell you, even when it's cold you are not going to catch me in any kind of coat or sweater or anything else. You try and do that to me and I refuse to move. And I can be really stubborn. But thankfully Mom and Dad have finally come to their senses and stay away from the really cold weather. We have seen enough snow in our lives. Don't tell Miss PPP but you wear your coat much better.

    1. Crikey Scooter ...... I'd freeze to death if I were like you. I hate wearing my coat too and only put up with it if I'm really cold. Wanna know what I do if I want it off? I go to a couch in our family room that's on a tiled floor. I rub and push up against it. The couch moves all over the place and makes a big racket. Either Mum or Dad come a runnin' and before you know it that coats off!! Clever, aye??

  21. Oh squeals - I absolutely love your coats. I think they are definitely a must have in cooler weather. Right now, I'm burning up in hell with the temperatures here close to 100 degrees every day. Shakes head - I really need some cool weather. I've been camping out in my bedroom watching my television and staying in the air conditioning room. Send me some cold and I'll send you some heat pal. What do you say? Snorts and oinks. Last night Miss PPP's got an electric blanket. Is she spoiled or what? I don't get an electric blanket.

    1. Oh I think we are pretty safe here. Even in our Snowy mountains we have to make snow so people can go skiing. We never get that much snow and around Sydney we only ever see it about once every 87 million years and then it's only a little bit and it disappears after a day or two.
