My mate Wyatt
had a big wind storm at his place the other day. His pool landed in my front yard. He let me keep it so I gave it to Miss Poppy PooPoo Pants. Now our Miss Izzi doesn't have to share her pool with a pig. How nice of Wyatt to let us keep it, aye?? My stick blew over to Wyatt's house in the same storm. I was a meanie and told him to return it. Crikey ...... I felt so BAD
about that!! What was I thinking?? I'm so sorry, mate ..... guess I've got a lot to learn yet in the being kind to others department. Mum says it's cause I'm young but that's no excuse really, aye?? I'll try and and do better in future. Don't worry about returning the stick Wyatt. It's yours to keep mate. I sure hope you think of me when you're having a good old chew on it. I did find another really good stick at the golf course the other day. Mum reckons that's the only reason I said you could keep my other stick but THAT'S NOT TRUE!!
I've really learnt a lesson here and I'm going to be much better at sharing in future. That's one of the things I love about Blogville. It teaches you how to be NICE
Keeping my eye out for a good stick.
This one's even better.
Crikey the sky was pretty here today. We went for a bit of a drive to one of our favourite lookouts. It's still hazy from the bush fires but the sky was magnificent. Mum found a waratah growing in the bush so we had to stop to take photos, aye?? Flowers and birds!!!!!! OMD she's obsessed.
The Megalong valley. When we were here last it was like Ireland the grass was so green. We NEED rain!!
Spring wild flowers.
Waratah ...... the floral emblem of NSW!!
Wanna run .... Love, Charlie.

Mr Bailey & Hazel
I was happy Mr Bailey and Hazel. I love being out in the fresh air AND OFF lead, aye? Doesn't get much better than that.Delete
Sharing? What are dat??ReplyDelete
It's like when your Momma gives you some of HER bacon, Travis. She's SHARING with you!! Crikey ..... forget it, mate ..... you'd NEVER understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Delete
Sharin are not a concept terrierists understand.ReplyDelete
No ...... I have noticed ..... Travis has no idea either.Delete
A REAL Waratah! WoW!ReplyDelete
Well, him giving you a pool that he didn't want and wanting your stick that you STILL wanted, we can understand you. It's easy to give away stuff you don't want.
That's a bonzer stick you found, better keep it weighted down in case of another blow!
Yeah!! A real one ...... the ones in gardens just don't do it, aye?? Mum's found quite a few here in the mountains. So good to see.Delete
Hey ... you blokes have it all sussed, aye?? Wyatt didn't want that pool, aye? Being winter and all. I sure wanted that stick but I have found another one. This sharin' stuffs mighty complicated, aye. I DON'T share FOOD!! No WAY!! Especially dead stuff that I find myself. Mum's got no hope of getting those finds from me.
You can have some of our rain Charlie.ReplyDelete
When I can escape the barracks I would like it to be dry so I'm happy to share the rains we've got
Loves and licky kisses

OMD Charlie...what's this???????????? the words 'pot' and 'kettle' are getting mixed in my head, mate.... just sayin'.....
'IT' arrives tomorrow... keep yer eyes wide... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
(for passers by... Charlie and I are having a battle of the pictorial sort... it's friendly fire and you don't need to take cover!)
'Pot' and 'kettle', aye?? 'Goose' and 'gander' are getting mixed up in my head .... just sayin' ....Delete
that is something Mom says she misses the most - the beautiful clear blue skies - we have blue skies here too on occasions but they are never a bright and clean because there is always a pollution haze. Glad you found a new stickReplyDelete
When Mum was in Europe she couldn't believe the haze all the time. She sure missed the sky too while she was over there. Thank goodness ours are still crystal clear and beautiful. Even Sydney!! Sometimes there's a bit of pollution haze but a big southerly buster arrives and it all goes out to sea.Delete
That Waratah is GORGEOUS.ReplyDelete
We are sorry that the wind Stole your good stick ... butt you got a POOL and a New Stick outta the deal. Crikey Mate... that is a Win Win ... WINd if you ask US.
No Worries Mate. You know Blogville will forgive and furget most Anythingy.
They are beautiful, aye Frankie and Ernie? Mum still finds it VERY special when she finds one in the bush. You can grown them in gardens but they aren't the same as the wild ones.Delete
Win, Win ..... WINd ..... Crikey you blokes are laugh a minute, aye??
Such cute playmates. Thanks for taking us along on your adventureReplyDelete
Lily & Edward
You two can share my adventures any day. You'd make the best playmates, aye??Delete
I'm sure you learnt that lesson and to share a stick with a friend is fabulous... except the stick is tasty... ooops... did I say that loud? your waratah is wonderful, my mom dreams about having such wonderful plants, butt she has a black thumb and she sends all plants to the bridge within some days...ReplyDelete
Crikey Easy ..... sticks are tasty, aye and that sharin' lesson is mighty hard, aye?? Maybe one day I'll get it properly but I am having a bit of a struggle.Delete
My Mum has black thumbs too. That's why we do soooooo many bush walks. The natural gardens are always the best, aye?? They were planted by THE MASTER gardener, aye??
I'm sure there are lots more good sticks where that came from. You can have some of our snow.ReplyDelete
Crikey .... good to see you .... I have missed you!! You would SHARE your snow with me?? That is so nice of you. I would love to see snow!!Delete
Wow! We love seeing the beautiful flowers and amazing views of the area where you live! I have a bit of a problem with sharing my squeaky toys with Joey. He doesn't mind too much. But sometimes he's real sneaky and takes on to nibble on when I'm not looking.ReplyDelete
this SHARIN' thing is VERY complicated, aye?? I'm glad you liked the flowers and the views. We think they are pretty special.Delete
Pretty pictures today Charlie. It is all so grey and dark here in Aberdeen. Any chance of teleporting Down Under for the winter?ReplyDelete
If only Bertie .... if only!!! Maybe your Mom could come and live with me at my house for our summer and my Mum and Dad could go and live with you at your house for your winter. We'd be taken care of real good and we'd get lots of stories when they got back home, aye?? AND they'd get to experience something different from their norm.Delete
Those skies look beautiful. Unfortunately we're starting to build up an inversion here!ReplyDelete
Murphy & Stanley
Never mind ..... it can't last forever. It'll be spring before you know what's hit you, aye??Delete
I will gladly share my snow...all 6-8 inches of the cold white fluff. Its blowing all around and making drifts. And causing road troubles to boot, such that a lot of schools were closed because it was dangerous to run the buses. Some areas got a lot more than we did.ReplyDelete
Beautiful plant! So bright!
I saw that your scar is now just a red line, so its healing so well! Soon your brindle furs will hide it.
Um...you say you want to try out snow...well, today the wind that brought the snow from over the lake was bitterly cold. No fun at all fur half naked dogs like you & I. And it freezes off your tootsies! The one good thing is that snow holds smells really well, so you can sniff who's been walking in your terriertory! Like deer and turkeys and squirrels...and other trespassing doggies. and kitties, OMD! Grrr!
We've been hearing about your snow on our news.. It sure looks pretty but I guess it does make life difficult. Mum still talks about those photos you showed her of Lake Mitch Again and how beautiful they were.Delete
The waratahs are beautiful, aye? They used to be everywhere in the bush but are a bit hard to find these days. It's always a delight for Mum when she spots one.
I've healed up pretty good but it's taking a while for the fur to grow back. I laid in the sun too much today and it got sunburnt so it's all red. Mum got angry with herself for not watching me well enough and keeping me out of the sun.
Keep those snow pics coming.. We love 'em.
Very nice pictures and love that stick! Mom keeps taking sticks like that away from me! Your scar does look good. Hope you are feeling much better.ReplyDelete
My Mum doesn't like me playing with sticks either Buddy. She says they're dangerous. Hmmmmmmmmph! I don't agree. I'm real good now, thanks Buddy.Delete
Oh, that waratah! We calls em Pro-tee-ahs here...Now my Momma is wonderin' if she can get one and try to grow it here... she's like that, flower obsessed.ReplyDelete
Your scar seems to be healing well...
Your Mom and my Mum both Finley. My Mum LOVES flowers AND birds. I like birds too but not for the same reasons I'm a thinkin'. The waratah is beautiful though, aye. I don't think it is a protea but I'm not sure. Proteas are found in South Africa I think.. Mum took some more flower pics today and one is of a protea. She will put them in a post soon.. I'm sure you could grow waratahs in Texas. I'll try and find out for you, aye. I'm pretty sure they don't grow from seed though so I don't know if we could send a plant over to you. Seeds would be easy, aye?Delete
Mom says sharing is caring... I don't quite know. I love my own toys anaway LOL.ReplyDelete
Crikey Laika ... I love my toys too. I don't CARE to SHARE my TOYS!!Delete
Wow, just lookey lookey at dat and no snow or rain... lucky yous. Luvs, just luvs that place where yous lives.ReplyDelete
Luvs Freya Rose Blossom X
No snow is good I s'pose but .... crikey ..... we could sure use some rain. Everything's turning brown!! Oh well ..... there's a great poem called I love a sunburnt country. That's Australia ..... sunburnt!! It IS pretty good though!! I LOVE it!!Delete
We got lots of sticks here!ReplyDelete
Crikey Tweedles .... you don't say a lot, aye?? but you ALWAYS give me a giggle for some reason or other.Delete

Well its good that you don't like sticks Zaids. My Mum says they're dangerous. She takes 'em away from me ALL the time. She won't let me run with 'em. Reckons I'll get it stuck in my throat or something.Delete
Well, ackfuwwawy, my cuzin, da late Woody Wilson, gedded part ob a stik cotted in hims froat. Him needed go tu hims bet. Sowwy tu wain on yur pawade or whuteber it r I r duin'. Nod wunnin' wif dem r da way tu go, my fwiend.Delete

Crikey Wyatt ..... you sure are good at this sharin' stuff, aye?? Rain ..... rain ..... what's that?? Oh ..... now I remember ..... that's the stuff we fill the blue pool with.Delete
