Murphy's come to stay!!

Crikey ...... Murphy's come to stay for a whole WEEK!!! I've got to share my house with him. I've got to share Mum and Dad with him.  I'm NOT sharin' my food with him.  NO WAY!!!  When he first arrived he went straight to my bowl and ate ALL my biscuits. I'm not going to stand for that.  If he tries that again I'm goin' to get REAL nasty, aye??   The little girls have gone to a resort for a week with their Mum and Dad. It was an early Christmas present from my Mum and Dad. Murphy couldn't go so we got stuck with him. Could have been worse ....... we could have got stuck with Miss PPP's too. I got real excited when he first arrived this morning.  I'm over him now.  How long does it take for a week to go??

He only bought ONE stuffie. S'pose he thinks he can play with MINE.   Hmmmmmmmmph!!
Get a load of his tail and head. He's ALWAYS movin' What's with that??

Crikey ..... a whole week!!!!!!!

Look ..... an empty bowl. My bowl's NEVER empty!! I can help myself whenever I like. Not for the next week, aye??

He really likes it here!!

Please Dad ..... can he go home now???
For Frankie and Ernie!!

I know ...... it's got nothing to do with Murphy but that last picture's what an apple cucumber should look like. I dunno if you saw the one that Frankie and Ernie's Mum grew but .... fair dinkum ..... it was not a real good lookin' apple cucumber. This is what they should look like.

Wanna run (away from Murphy) .... Love, Charlie.

  1. SHE just had one of those cucumbers in HER salad today.

We were thinkin' that it could have been THE PIG! Guess Murphy isn't too bad. But not being able to help yourself to food for a week is the pits!

  6. Oh gosh I know all about those visitors who take advantage of one's leisurely approach to food consumption and just walk in an gobble it all up with out so much as a by-your-leave, the instant they enter your home.
    Tough luck pal.

  13. CRIKEY Charlie.... We are sort of embarrassed about showing and being proud of those TEEEEENY TINY pitiful excuses fur apple Cucumbers, now.. OURS didn't grow NEARLY big enough.. we are thinkin that they were confused by being on the Wrong side of the Planet... THANKS Mate fur showing us what we SHOULD have been able to harvest... Butt even though they didn't measure up in SIZE... they were Fair Dinkum...
Maybe you should try Filling CHARLIE UP with a few of those... We ate them and LIKED them... and then he would leave YOUR food alone..
We thought maybe Miss PPP would join him at your house... butt that would have been WAY OVER THE TOP, we guess...
We guess you will have to be thankful fur the fact that Murphy isn't staying fur 87 days... NO WORRIES Mate... NO WORRIES.

    1. As long as they tasted ok it doesn't matter how big they are, I guess. Murphs wouldn't eat 'em even if I tried to make him. He thinks he's died and gone to heaven at my house. He has to fight for his food at his house with Miss PPP's and the the little girls around. Here it's handed to him on a silver platter 3 times a day and it's ALL MINE. If Miss PPP's was here too there'd be nothing left for me.
      87 days ..... OMD ..... don't even think about it. I'm sure that's a long time.
NO WORRIES ... you gotta be jokin' ...... I'm worried alright!!

  18. Mom has never seen an apple cucumber and will now be asking Mr. Google what that is! Well, Murphy does look like lots of fun. When you get tired of him, sending up here. I have a squirrel that I would like him to chase! You can show him the picture of it on my blog and see if he thinks it would be a good idea to chase it, BOL!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Crikey Buddy ..... you don't know what your saying, mate! You wouldn't want Murphs at your house. The only thing he ever chases is his own tail. He wouldn't chase a squirrel. Once there was a mouse in his house and he just sat and watched it run around the room..... right in front of his nose AND he plays with the chooks and the pig. He NEVER chases them. AND I had to go over to his house to chase a rabbit from their paddock. He wouldn't chase it. Do you STILL want him???????????????????

  25. How are you holding up there with the house guest, Charlie? Hehehe - this was one funny post. Of course, it's always humorous to read of another doggie's woes - but not so fun when it is you that is going through it! Hope you are making the best of it and putting that interloper in his place! ;)

  26. Crikey Charlie did you not learn sharing in kindergarden? And you know it is the time of the year when Santa Paws is watching closely to figure out if you have been naughty or nice but oh what the devil you have already lost out because of Miss PPP. Maybe if you turn over a new leaf and be nice to your guest and Miss PPP Santa Paws will still bring you something. Just saying
    Thanks for being a friend

  27. Poor Charlie. I might have eaten them biscuits too...cause I am a food vacuum...I nevfur have any in my bowl, except at meal times...last about 5 min or less...

When I am around my cousin Murphy, he doesn't steal my noms, nor I his...cause we get fed in separate rooms.

But being both terrierists we snarl at each other or worse if there are any edibles around, we guard them fiercely as our own...OMD:(

At least I don't try to destuff any of hims stuffies, he has way more than I do.

Hope the week goes by really fast!
Then it will be Christmas! Hooray!
