You blokes and Sheilas are a riot!!

Crikey you blokes and sheilas are a riot!!  Your comments on yesterday's post really cracked me up.  You didn't REALLY think there were crocs in my river did you??  I was just joshin'.  THERE'S NO CROCS IN THERE!!!!!!!!  Sharks ..... YES ..... but No crocs.  You've gotta go a bit further north to get crocs.  Anyway I thought I'd reply here to some of your comments. I'd reply to 'em all cause you were all funny but it'd take forever so I'll just do a few.
First .... Bella, Roxy and Dui ....  Have you got any pictures of that wild woman hair. I'm sure we'd ALL like to see that.
Princess .... Sharks we do have Princess but NO crocs.  Now about blog to print.  Mum was determined to master it today but NO SUCH LUCK!!  She can't get past home base. When it asks  her to nominate the platform thingoe she puts in blogger. All good. Then it asks for my address. She puts that in and NOTHING!!  She tried putting au on the end. Nope ..... no go!!  She tried a few other things but .... nope!!  Nothing works. She can't go any further. Internet explorer can't display the page. Oh ...... wait she just thought of something .... maybe if she tries firefox not IE. I'll let you know how THAT goes.
Easy ..... the wizard of OZ storm!!!!!!!!  You're a riot mate.  No witches and NO crocs. Just fairies and unicorns. We don't even have crocs on our polo shirts.
Oz ... Crikey Oz ..... are your alligators really WORSE than our crocs???  How come??  Our crocs are much bigger than those alligator blokes and they are man eaters. They use us dogs as toothpicks. We're easy pickings for them.  They are HUGE!!!!!!
Judith ......  Thankyou for your kind words about my dog house.  I like it too. It's home.
Sully ..... way too funny Sully .... Not those crocs!!!!!!!!!  I mean the kind that chew YOU!!  Not the ones that you can chew.
Cobi ...... it's been a busy week alright but then, they're all busy around here. I sleep like a log at night.
Sweet William .... crikey William ..... great poem, mate ..... thanks!!

AND to everyone else ..... don't worry, aye??  I don't need to look out for crocs. I was just joking!!  It's the sharks we have to worry about here not crocs.  Mind you we still go in the water from time to time. Never early morning or late arvo though. Mum used to swim right to the end, that you can see in that first picture from yesterday, and back every morning but she's too old and lazy to do that now. She never got attacked by a shark. She just got FAT!!

Wanna run ... Love, Charlie.

  2. You're joking about the sharks too, aren't you? Sure hope so if your mom used to swim in that water.

    1. Nope ..... I'm deadly serious about the sharks. They're bull sharks too. They are not very nice sharks but there's lots of fish and ducks and things for them to eat so Mum reckons as long as she doesn't go in when it's feeding time (dawn and dusk) she's ok. Besides ..... she's too old and tough to eat.

  3. I missed the first post, but I am sure glad you don't have any crocs there. I think they are mean and might eat you.

    Ziggy Out!!

    1. Charlie's Mum, Lynn: I'm almost certain now it's a downunder thing. I have managed to do a book through a site called sharedbook. It looks great but I can't register with them as they won't accept my postal address. It's all very frustrating. I have googled for a blog to print site in Australia but nothing comes up. I know we are a long way behind the times here but I did think we were catching up a bit.

  6. We sure did buy your croc story hook, line and sinker, Charlie!
Mom says that she has had issues with Firefox letting her target start dates and end dates for our blog book. IE let us do it and Firefox wouldn't. We hope Firefox will work for you.

  8. Chrome may work if Firefox doesn't. I am pondering if I would rather have sharks or crocs...not many water sources here for either. It's the killer bees we have to watch out for.

PS from Gail: This may not be helpful but I have used Blog2print for several years now (via Safari on the macBook) with no difficulties.

    1. Thanks Gail ...... I think it's a downunder thing. I've tried everything I know and can't get into blog2print through any format. I've managed to do a book on one format and it looks great but I can't register as the site won't take my postal address. I'm getting very frustrated. Especially now that I have managed to do the whole book and see it.

  11. Our Jessy knows a spot on the Everglades where a pretty huge alligator lives. She warned one guy about it when she was fishing nearby and he didn't listen. He reached his arm out over the water, and bam! up came the gator! She never saw a guy run so fast! They may not be as big as crocs, but they're just as nasty. One gator has his own parking spot. Don't ever park in his spot, or you will have to walk home! No sharks though!

    1. Crikey .... I wonder if that bloke ever went fishing there again. You don't go fishing in far north Queensland unless you have some sort of death wish. Those crocs just come out of the water at the speed of light and your gone before you know it. The aborigines take lots of dogs with 'em. Yeah ...... that's right. Crocs like the taste of dog and the aborigines reckon their dogs are dispensable. How bad is that???

  12. OK, so there are no crocs in your ocean right outside your door. Just sharks, huh? Do you have a pawsonal shark cage for when you want to go swimming? Are there electric eels too, just waiting to shock you? Oh, the wilds of Australia!

    Keep Calm & Bark On!

  14. Oh, how good that no crocs abound in your river...though sharks do not sound much better...YIKES!

All we need to worry about here is silly deer trying to kill themselves and us on our roads...esp at night. Growlmy always has to watch out fur them when she drives the 8 miles of country roads home from her work. Even in the winter...

    1. Those deer have NO idea on roads, aye?? Bit like our roos. It's very scary driving at night.

  16. Funny never seen a Croc but Sydney has very few, only in zoos.
We do have sharks but you must remember that the ocean is their area and we should respect that, do all the right things never swim alone and always between the flags.
