I hear it's National puppy day!!

Crikey ...... I heard on Whitley's last post that it's National puppy day. Well she spelled it different but she has a bit of a problem with her spelling.  Anyway ..... I thought I'd show you some pics of me when I was a little bitty thing.  We don't have many cause Mum didn't get me until I was 6 months old but the people that bred me sent these few photos. There's not many. They weren't too generous when it came to sharing my early days with Mum and Dad. Mum reckons it's because I wasn't the best lookin' puppy in the world??  What would she know? Ok ...... I was fat but you gotta remember I didn't have any brothers or sisters and I had the milk bar all to myself.  Bet you'd have drank your fill too, aye??  Anyway I improved with age.    Whatya reckon??

Well I was only 2 days old. I hadn't learnt any self control.
I was only 1 day old here. I shoulda put this one first, aye?
Me and my Mum.  I take after her, aye??   About 7 weeks.

Getting a bit better lookin' aye??  Dunno how old I am here.
This is when my Mum and Dad first got me.  6 months and a bit!!

Wanna run ... Love, Charlie.

    1. Way too funny Milton and Mr. Stubbs. Have another look. Make it bigger. That 'equipment' is just a mark on Mum's leg. I must admit, when you pointed it out, I did have second thoughts.

    1. Crikey ..... is this who I think it is? if so ..... yes ... you found the right buttons. Now you've got to work out how to put a picture instead of the big B. One of Govett would be good. I don't think we have any horses in Blogville. I'm sure he would be very welcome.

  17. Yes Charlie I would say you definitely took advantage of the milk bar ~ it looks like you just slept by the bar. Eat and Sleep. But you definitely whipped yourself into shape later in life.
    Thanks for being a friend

Lady didn't know us when we were puppies. Hailey joined our pack at age 8 months (she was rescued at 3 weeks) and Phod was about 1.5 (found as a stray).

  37. CRIKEY ... You sure know how to hurt a bloke, aye? Must say Mum agrees! She reckons she would have run a thousand miles rather than chose me if the only thing she had to go on was that picture. It's pretty gross, aye? Thank goodness I improved with age.

  38. Nothing wrong with puppy fat. You need it to grow into big strong adult. I think you were absolutely adorable. And quite handsome now.
