I didn't chase 'em ...... honest!!

How cute were these little blokes??  I spotted 'em at the golf course on one of my morning walks.  I didn't chase 'em ...... honest!!  BUT my mate Emma did. She's a GSP and she's kinda bred for it, aye??  She didn't catch one. How good is that?? Those little blokes are EVER so smart. When Emma dived in they went underwater and we didn't see 'em again.  Mum reckon'd they went underwater to the reeds and hid. I sure hope so ... it would be just too awful  if they drowned, aye??  But they didn't. We went back the next morning and there were still 5 of 'em. Crikey I love the golf course. I have so much fun there.

Cute, aye??
Mum got a bit carried away with the reflections so there's a few of these pics.
Another one!
But ...... she thought this one was the best.  Naturally ..... 2 of me!! Doesn't get much better than that, aye??
Mum thought you might like to see some flowers and things she photographed so here they are. ... Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwn!!!!!!!
All these pictures were taken on the phone.  Shame she didn't have her camera with her, aye? They would have been so much better.

I think these are weeds but they sure look pretty, aye??
Remember the Waratah I posted a ways back??  Well it was growing in the wild.
These were in someone's garden. They're just NOT the same, aye??

This is a Protea. They are native to South Africa I think but they grow good here.
This one was in the same garden as the Waratah above.
Even the buds are pretty, aye??

Crikey ..... got no idea why she put this one in. Trying to be ArtyFarty again, aye??
I keep telling her it doesn't work.
While we're on reflections here's a shot Mum took at the beach just before we left for the road trip
These blokes show up every so often to do their early morning workout. They leave their drink bottles on the sand. I pee on them!!

Wanna run ... Love, Charlie.

  2. Charlie, do you ever get shouted at the blokes with the longs sticks and the little balls when you're running over the golf course?

    1. LONG sticks and LITTLE balls??????? Crikey Bertie!!!!!!!!!!! My Dad's one of those golfing blokes.
The golf course I run on went broke and it is not being used as a golf course. It has been sold and the new owners are keeping the fairways mowed and have given the local people permission to use it. They will be doing something with it in the future but have said they will be keeping a lot of it for parkland and we doggies will ALWAYS be welcome to use it and leash free too. How good is that????

  4. We know you wouldn't harass the duckies.....bwahaahaa! We love going to the duck pond next to the Golf Course, too. But we have to stay on our leads and aren't allowed very close to the pond. We've all fallen in at one time or another--except Dui, he's not allowed off yet.

    1. When I get too hot from runnin' around I swim in that pond. Then I'm ready to run again. Its a disused golf course so we blokes have free run. It's great. Don't know how long it will last but while it's there we are using the heck out of it. I LOVE it.

Well Charlie mate, on reflection, these are great shots.... though I am inclined to think the flowers are PROTEAs - a South African import and not a 'bar' on the native Waratah...Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. Yep .... you're right. They are proteas. Nothing is as good as a native waratah. Even the ones grown in nurseries don't look as good as the ones you find in the bush, aye?? There's still lots of native ones around. Mum still get a big thrill when she finds one.
