CRIKEY!!!!!!!! What to say??

Crikey .... I'm overwhelmed!!!  I just want to say a big THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU!! to everyone in Blogville for all the concern shown to me.  I s'pose you know by now that Mum likes to respond to each and every comment on my posts but she is a bit snowed under at the moment and she also has ME being VERY demanding of her time. She WILL definitely get round to replying to every single one of you in the next few days. She has read all of your comments to me and I must say how much I appreciate every single one.  What a great lot of blokes and Sheilas you all are. How lucky am I to have you as friends.  I'm feeling so much better today and I'm not so wobbly on my feet although Mum still follows me everywhere just in case. That anaesthetic stuff sure knocks me around. Something about not having any meat on my bones. I'm well and truly on the mend now though so I want you all to stop worrying about me. I'm fine. I know there's many out there a LOT worse off than me so lets all concentrate on them now, aye??  Mum and I still have to catch up on all of your blogs too. We have got a bit behind. How fantastic were the Highland games, aye??   What a wonderful celebration for Kyla.  Well done to everyone. So much effort and love was put in by everyone.
Murphy and Stanley,  mayoral candidates extraordinaire,  gave me a tip about links and things in their comment and I'm just going to give it a go here to see if I can do it.  Thanks Murphy and Stanley. My Mum needs all the tips she can get, aye??
We will get back to you and that's a promise!!
Looking better, aye??  If I curl up real small you can't even see the damage.

I still find it hard to keep my eyes open for too long though!!
Oh and here's a little PEE ESS ( I think that's somehow like Frankie and Ernie say it, aye? AND Mum just had to try the linky thing again):  Our Harri's gardenia is in flower.  Mum's sooooooo proud of it. Not only is she a real crook cook she's an equally bad gardener but look how healthy Harri's gardenia is!!

Wanna run (in a few weeks) .... Love, Charlie.

It is good to see those big eyes looking a wee bit cheerier Charlie mate!!! Probably, now, mum is more bothered than you are; and that is only natural. One thing is for sure, Blogville rallies round its own when the times require...

I would tell mum not to worry too much about responding to all those comments which have gone; most folk know that time is precious when there are emergencies (and life) happening, so it is not a problem to skip a few for this week at least. Also, when pressed for time or there are too many blogs altogether, short comments are every bit as valued as lengthy ones, just so long as you leave your 'mark'!

My journal blog is a mixmash of all sorts of topics, but not least among those has been "The J's"... adventures of the fur companions I had in OZ. On Monday and Tuesday this week I have posted about Jade and her ball for the Kyla Games ... but today is the first of the posts about Bertie, so just in case mum finds time to read it to you, you will FIND IT HERE.

Stay safe dear furiend and tell mum it is just fine to take time to sniff the gardenia!!! (It's gorgeous BTW.) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. OMD, Charlie! How did we miss this?!!!!! We can't believe you were injured so badly and that moron didn't do anything! Someone should have taken his picture and reported him to the police. We're so glad your Vet was there are could take you straight away! Can't believe it happened on YOUR beach.

You just cuddle up there.....(milk it for treats, mate.) and get better quickly! We think your scar might be larger than Bertie's...just sayin.

  10. We are so glad to see you feeling better Charlie - that a real scary thing to happen. Now you know sometimes we doggies get a bit shy around other doggies after such things happen but tell your mom to be brave and when you are up to it go for little walks and meet other doggies. Probably good to keep her on a leash until so she doesn't run away and pull you away too.....ou know how over protective Mom's can be.

  13. I was so sad as I read what a horrible day you had ... or exactly, you had two horrible days. I'm glad you feel better and I hope it heals up very well and you have no pains. I'm also not good at that "kock-out-stuff", the time when I wake up is always a challenge. Let's cross our paws that we will never need that stuff again.

  22. Well the linky thing is looking good but of course the ultimate test is to click on it but we are confident it will work. Goodness, you are all legs, huh? We are glad you are a bit better today and tomorrow will probably be even more better. Me and mom had a scary thing happen yesterday. We were walking through a tunnel (the train pic on our bloggy) and 2 bikers came flying by and nearly hit us!! Mom screamed and I was scared like crazy! Just not safe these days!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley
