A good arvo!!

We went to BIG dog beach yesterday.  I like BIG dog beach but little dog beach is better because ALL my mates go there.  Not many dogs go to BIG dog beach but it is BIG and there are really good smells and lots of places to explore. Mum LOVES big dog beach best because you can walk forever and sometimes not see anyone else. She's VERY anti-social, my Mum.  So, to please Mum, I went to BIG dog beach with her and here's the pictures to tell the story:-

Just as Mum likes it.  NO-ONE to be seen!!
Hmmmmmph!!  No footprints but mine.
C'mon Mum ..... lets get this over with, aye??
So we walked ..... and we walked ..... AND .... wait!!  Can I see something??

They don't call me a sight hound for nothing!!

I'm SURE I saw something!!

Yep ..... it's people!!

AND they've got dogs with them!!

I'll just let 'em get a bit closer, aye??

Even closer!! don't wanna rush 'em!!

Is the time right yet????

Hey wait for me you blokes!!!!!!!

Crikey ..... that was fun. We continued our walk. I sure was thirsty by the time we got to the creek!

It turned out to be a REAL GOOD ARVO, aye??????

Wanna run .... Love, Charlie.

We walked some more. Mum's a big walker. That's a great beach for diggin'. You would love it. I dig for crabs and I find 'em too. Mum stops me. Big fat spoilsport!!

    1. I did Princess. I got to play for a while. It was a beautiful day. Most days here have beautiful clear blue skies like that. We are VERY lucky but when it rains IT RAINS. Funny but we seem to get most of our rain at night for some reason.

    1. Just her and her dog!!! That's my Mum too. Right from when she was a little girl a million years ago. She was always alone except for her dog. She takes anti-social to a new level.

  19. Hmmm, I have nevfur experienced a beach. Growlmy has, though not any as vastly bare as yours.

I like the pic where you 'exploded' into a run. Voom!
Our nearest good beach is a long drive from here, and growlmy's fave beach is in another country! (Near Picton, Ontario) (Holland has some great ocean beaches, too.)

    1. Crikey Mr JF Sir ..... I would love you to be able to run with me on MY beach. We would have such a good time. I sure do 'explode' when I take off, aye? Mum reckons I hit full speed in about 2 seconds flat. Mum didn't get to the ocean beaches in Holland but she did in Belgium and said they were lovely but she also said they weren't as good as our beaches. She is a bit biased though. She just LOVES our Aussie beaches. She didn't particularly like the US beaches she saw on the western side (around California) but she loved the other side. Particularly Maine. When they were there it was a beautiful day and there were lots of people on the beach. They were swimming and having a great time and Mum went down to have a paddle and she reckoned the water was so cold her toes nearly dropped off with frost bite. She couldn't understand how anyone could immerse their whole bodies in that water. At the beach in the pictures here the water temp in winter only gets down to about 19C and in summer it is about 25C.

    2. Growlmy has seen/walked on lots of beaches, the sandiest were in Holland and in the Picton area. The most interesting ones are the non-snad ones, like the rocky waterfronts/seashores, say in parts of Nova Scotia, or even on the west coast of Canada. Our earth sure has lots of beautiful things to show off and fur us to enjoy.

    3. Mum and Dad didn't make it to Novia Scotia. They did the other side of Canada and all the lakes and did get to the city of Quebec. They wish now they did do Nova Scotia. They thought about it but Hey ..... it's a big place over there and they always have so little time. It was in 1990 so it's time for them to go back, aye?? No way says I!!! This Earth place sure is a wonder and I'm sure enjoying my little, tiny, wee bits of it!!
