For Mara!!

Do you remember my last post??  Miss G's first day at school!!!  Mara really liked the blackboard idea and wanted to see the little girls previous answers to what they wanted to be when they grow up. So here they are. I'll let the pictures tell the story but I'll make Mum put a photo of me up as well. Wouldn't want you to forget what I look like, aye??  After all ..... IT IS MY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!

Crikey .... am I a proud Aussie or what??
Ok .... this isn't a blackboard thing but it is OUR JEN on her first day at school 87 million years ago or so it seems to Mum. Ever wonder where G got that beautiful smile??  Now you know!!
Crikey .... Our Jo!  She wasn't a happy little Vegemite, aye??  Its so good to see how her confidence has grown over the years
Looking better and happier already.
Getting much better!
Oh my ..... such a BIG!!
Our Miss Izzi ... No shoes????????  Oh well .... what will be will be ...
Shoes??? ... on Izzi?????  There was a bit of complaining and procrastinating but she finally got them on.
Oh No ..... not the shoe thing again?????
And here we are 2017.  Crikey I LOVE those kids!!!!!!!

Wanna run .... Love, Charlie.

  9. Well of course you need a picture of yours truly! Priorities!!

But thank you very much for lending the space to put up what they want to be. I think fairy is the best idea ever! I wish I had thought of that when I grew up. Instead I became a bus driver which is not fairy-ish at all!!

Of course, it wouldn't be the same without a photo of your handsome self.

  11. Super answers all round. Shall I let you into a wee secret? Gail (who claims to be a feminist), when asked the same question in kindergarten in the early 1960s, said she wanted to be a 'Farmer's Wife'!!!

  12. I recall back when I was in grade 1. Back in the day. We all drew a picture of what we want to be when we grew up. Well I drew a picture of an astronaut. But at that time girls only had a limited careers.

  14. Oh wow, fun! Our princess grew into a soccer player and then into a teenager. Right now nothing good is happening, apart from all the food that gets left on the floor. I wonder what she'll want to be next?
