BEST morning of my whole life!!!! I'll let the pictures tell the story, aye???

| Katoomba golf course. It's closed to golfers now so we get to use it whenever we want. Here I am setting out for a walk with Mum. |

| No one to run with at the moment. Have to run by myself. So what?? I don't need an excuse to run. |

| Mum was trying to be arty with the gum tree?? Hahahahaha!! Mum .... ARTY????? Bet you can't find me in this one. I am there. |

| The dam!! I got to swim in it. Yeah .... I was chasin' the ducks but they got away. |

| Mum was so busy watching me swimming she didn't think to take a photo until it was too late. So she took this one of me leaving. Told you she was weird. |
And now, if she remembers how, here's the best part. Videos of me and my mates ..... Runnin' at the golf course!! She's not good at the videoing thing. She did about five minutes of the sky. Crikey ..... sometimes she's not too smart, my Mum.
*Lynn here* ... Mmmmmmmmm!!!! That didn't seem to work too well. Am I doing something wrong?? Not too smart, indeed, Charlie!! The same can be said of you sometimes you know.

I'm good at that slowing down and waiting thing Ruby. I do it for all my mates but as soon as they get close I take off like a rocket again and it's 'keep up with Charlie time' all over again.
DeleteThe videos look real crook on our computer and take forever to upload but our internet is VERY slow. We're a bit behind the times in Australia. Maybe on fast internet speeds it looks ok, aye?? Mum had about 3 more she wanted to put on but didn't think it was worth it.
We found you in both photos--we had to bigify them.

DeleteHere's a funny thing ..... Dad loves golf so Mum decided she would learn so she could join him. She was quite good at it for a while but is a real sportsperson and has always found any sport easy. She wasn't GREAT at golf and would get frustrated and angry and started throwing her clubs around. Not a good look on the golf course. She gave it away quick smart. However she did miss the walks around the beautiful courses ...... until NOW!!!

Well I've got to get back at you somehow, aye?? Mum took lots of photos of the mountains today but there's still a lot of smoke haze from the fires so they aren't looking their best right now. We are in for a hot one today. Sydney is expecting a 40C day. It's warm here already and it's only 7am and that's daylight saving time. Better get to the dog course early, aye??

DeleteFunny but the videos are all pixelated (too technical a word for Mum to be able to spell) on our computer and VERY slow to upload(is that the right word - as I said - too technical for Mum). She thinks maybe our internet speeds aren't good enough to do them justice. We are a bit backward in Australia.

DeleteI've NEVER swum like I did yesterday Ranger. Normally I just paddle or jump the waves but I got sooooooooo hot runnin' that I just got in that old dam and I swam and swam. It's a great way to cool down. I was all set to run again after my swim. You should try it Ranger. You wouldn't sink. All dogs can swim. Just some better than others. Our Lucy (WFT) hated the water but she would go in to cool off sometimes. Mum thought she would sink too. She sure was funny to watch. Legs going everywhere and water thrashing about like a washing machine but she didn't sink.
That was a fun game of Where's Charlie! Good running too!

OMD I live right next to a golf course and they definitely make great places to play. My Mom tries to get artsy too and we all laugh. At least they try...and they're entertaining. BOL Great videos and they both worked great for me. It was nice to see you in action.

Good to hear from you, Sarge!! I'm glad the videos came out alright. They sure don't work for us on our slow internet speeds but now Mum knows everyone else can see them she might do more.
