Crikey .... you kitties are impressive, aye??

Do you remember Sammy??

I got to chase him.  He's still alive and so am I. I was watching tellie with Mum last night.  All snuggly and warm and Dad went outside and left the door open. Sammy came in and I spotted him. I was off Mum's lap in a flash and after him. Mum wondered what in the world had hit her. I was flying!!  BUT ...... Crikey!!  You kitties are impressive, aye??  Could Sammy move? He turned on the spot and took off ...... back outside ...... the back door mat went flying up into the air and we were off.  Could that bloke run??  You betcha.  Talk about impressive and just when I thought I had him he took off up a tree. He could CLIMB!!!   OMD!  I was outdone.   ME ..... CHARLIE ..... outdone by a CAT!!  Who'd have thought??
He wasn't at his usual lookout spot on the window sill this morning.  Mum reckons he's still up the tree.  Well it wasn't my fault.  You don't go calling on people unless you're invited, aye??   And shouldn't all pussy cats be indoors before dark.   VERY impressive though!!

Wanna run ....... Love, Charlie.

Hey, i mostly get along woth mine, unless they tease me furst, well you know what I mean...

But like today let me get a glimpse of the kitty next door, OMD! Its just like you, Charlie, I am OFF! I nevfur can get the silly dude,he jumps from the ground to the car's hood, and from there to the lean to (covering their driveway) on the roof, and on to the house roof if need be, BOL!
And to make matters worse, that dude will sit in the drive just past my side of the fence and taunt me. Even squirrels are better fun to chase.

Then, if things really go wrong my kitty brofurs will smirk at me that I didn't catch that kitty...as if they could, BOL!

Your Sammy is a handsome dude, by the way!

    1. Crikey Mr JF Sir ..... I'm full of admiration for you, mate ..... I don't know how the heck you can live with, not one, but two of those blokes. Fair dinkum ..... they've got me bluffed. If there not hissin' and spittin' they're running like the wind and climbing things. I don't think I'll ever get used to 'em. Mum's worried I'll lose an eye or something to one of 'em. She also reckons that Sammy bloke is handsome. Funny but she seems to get on alright with 'em. She can get close enough to pat 'em and fuss over 'em. Me ..... I can't even get close enough to get a good smell of 'em.
Do those two actually have the hide to smirk at you??? Crikey ..... that takes the cake. Bet you just wanna smack 'em around a bit sometimes, aye?? S'pose Growlmy'd yell at you though.

Wells, you knows those kittehs are sneaky and likes to tease us puppers, cause they know they can climb trees and we can't! Little buggers. Well, sounds like you scared him off for a little while at least ~ nice!

  15. Hiya Charlie,

We are so angry at Blogger because we have been commenting on your posts but for some strange reason they are not going through!!! So today we got tough with blogger and typed in your URL into some boxes - and we will see if this fixes things!! Anywho - assuming you get this we wanted to send all our love re: the harrowing stuff that happened on the beach - first the rainbow bridge incident of your furiend, then that AWFUL attack on you. It freaks mum out so much ... to think of morons owning dogs - she knows to blame the owner not the dog! We are so happy your cone is off and you are healing so well.

You did that kitty who is boss though!!

    Tail Wuggles, Rubie

    1. Crikey Rubie ..... blogger sometimes makes my Mum angry too but most times it's great, aye?? I'm so glad you've managed to get through to me again. Mum doesn't worry if people don't comment. It's hard to keep up with EVERYONE. She reads all of her friends posts but doesn't always comment. There's just not enough time but when things go wrong and you can't comment that's not good.
I'm going real good again now. Mum thinks I'll always have a scar but other than that NO side affects. I'm still outgoing and not scared of other dogs so that's good. The dear old lady whose dog died on the beach is going to have a new golden retriever puppy. We pick her up just before Christmas. She has NEVER had a puppy before. She has always had a rescue dog but this time we don't want her to have that same experience again. A puppy will be hard work for an old lady but she has plenty of helpers and plenty of time to look after her so I think it will work out alright.
Crikey it's so good to hear from you again!!

  21. That sounded like a great chase! In our limited experience with cats, they either run away, or hiss and punch you in that face. Maddie cat wasn't very friendly to us doggies and we stayed away from her. But after seeing lots of doggie blogs and kitty blogs, the two do get along sometimes.
