I went to the beach this morning. Crikey it was a beautiful morning. I LOVE the beach in the morning. We were the first people there. There were a whole lot of people out on the ocean in big canoe thingies but they were a long way out so we felt we had the whole place to ourselves. It didn't take long for others to join us though. Here's a few piccies.
This is what it looked like when we first arrived. |
Looking back the other way!! |
I can see where the sun is going to show it's head. Can you?? |
Oh look!! One of my mates has arrived! |
Look .... more people are coming!! |
There's the sun!! |
Now it's really up, aye?? |
Crikey .... lots of my mates arrived and I ran and ran. Had to snuggle up with Nan and have a big sleep once we'd had brekky!! Blimey .... we are both flat out like lizards drinkin'!! |
Love your pictures Charlie! Isn't it great to have Nan to snuggle to? I'm sure she appreciates the warmth.
ReplyDeleteCrikey it was cold this morning. Must have been about 14C. Nan really feels the cold. She's got an electric blanket over her and it is soooooooo snuggly. She can't have one under her cause you just never know with old people but Mum found this one that goes on top and so far we haven't electrocuted her.
DeleteBeautiful beach! Stunning and awe inspiring! Especally when the sun started to come up.
ReplyDeleteThe pics in the previous blog entry are great too.
My but you love to be a snuggler! Not me, BOL! I like to spread out or I just curl up in a nest, but don't dare cover me...
I love to get up close and personal Mr JF Sir! I feel the cold cause I've only got a single coat so I love to be covered up. So far this winter I haven't had to wear my coat but it was cold this morning. It was great at the beach cause I could run but it was cold at home and our houses in Queensland aren't built for the cold. We have air conditioners but no heaters and lots of glass. Mum went to the beach with no shoes on and had to paddle in the water cause her feet were so cold. The water temperature is about 21C so it was much warmer than the outside temperature.
DeleteIt sure was a pretty morning.
OMD, dat beach are gorgeous! I's jealous - can I come visit?
ReplyDeleteYou'd be VERY welcome, anytime, Whitley but only if you bring Finley and all the kitty cats too.
DeleteIt's working! When we turned it on this afternoon it was working. So it WAS blogger and NOT Dui.
ReplyDeleteWe love your gorgeous sunrises. We had a beautiful one the other morning, but out camera wouldn't capture the colours properly....looked washed out.
XXXOOO Bella Roxy & Dui
I heard about your beautiful sunrise the other day.. A truckie bloke rang John Laws and raved about the beautiful sunrise he had just seen in Dubbo.. I immediately thought of you three and hoped you got to see it. Mum took these piccies on her phone. Not bad for a phone, aye?
DeleteIt is fixed! Beauty! So glad DUI is innocent
That is a beautiful sunrise!
ReplyDeleteCrikey Dougall ..... it WAS a beautiful morning alright!!
DeleteYour'e back Charlie we all had such problesm with our blogger and BlogSpot friends :) great pics..bit cold here alright today! brrr and we have had bad storms..winter in Melbourne hey :) hugs Fozziemum
ReplyDeleteCrikey ... it was a nightmare here, aye? I couldn't bark at anyone. Looks like it's all fixed, thank goodness and Dui wasn't to blame. How good is that?? We've been hearing about the bad weather in Melbourne. It wasn't that cold here but cold enough. We didn't get any winds. You copped it pretty bad down there, or so we heard.
DeleteYeah we did mate..even Melbourne flooded in the city....and we have another cold front on it's way........urghhhhh ;) least we are back with blogger ....thought you had all blown away bawababa hugs Fozziemumxx
DeleteCrikey I hate being cold but I LOVE Melbourne. Must remember not to visit in winter. Blown away ... Too funny!
DeleteYu got a bee-u-tee-full reward fur gettin up at real early o'clock to be at the beach fur sunrise!
ReplyDeleteYay fur the bloggy thingo wurkin right!
We try and see the sub rise EVERY day Zoe. We haven't managed to get there since Nan came to stay until this day but we were rewarded for doing so, aye! It was a bit special.
DeleteCrikey ... Just noticed my blunder ... SUN rise not SUB! Now that would be something. I would LOVE to see that at our beach!
I second your Yay fur the bloggy thingo working again. It was a bit ruff, aye?
Very beautiful pictures, Charlie! We love all the pictures of you and your nan! Keep up the good work looking after her.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough job, Buddy but someone's gotta do it. May as well be me, aye?
DeleteYou live in the bestest country on earth... that colors are overwhelming! Are you an "undercover-sleeper" too?
ReplyDeleteAn undercover sleeper! Too funny! We sure are blessed here in Australia, aye? I don't know about being the best country though. There are some mighty beautiful places all over the world. We just gotta look after it a bit better, aye?
DeleteOMD, Charwie. Yur pichurs r PAWTASTIK! My Momma wood stay up all nite tu see dat sunwise, 'stead ob wakin' up so earwy! Hur r nod a mornin' person dese days!
ReplyDeleteYu an' Nan r so cute snuggwin' tugefur! It r makin' my LWD heart hurt, it r so sweet. Ouch!
Crikey Zaidie ... I didn't want to make your LWF heart hurt, mate but that snugglin' with Nan is hard to beat. My Mum's ALWAYS been a morning person. She hates to miss a sun rise but come dark and she's ready for bed. We turn in very early!
DeleteI think that is the thing I miss the most - the aussie sunsets....sigh
ReplyDeleteWell ... Crikey ... I 'm glad I could share this one (although it was rise not set) with you!
DeleteA beautiful sunrise, running with your mates, and a nap with Nan. Now that's a good day.
ReplyDeleteIt was ... It sure was!
DeleteSunrise on the beach. That is so beautiful Charlie. Oh how I would love it if Gail would take me to the beach at sunrise. I don't see the fact that sunrise in Aberdeen is before 4 am just now as a problem. Really, humans can raise such petty objections at times can't they?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Love the picture of you and Nan snuggled up together for the post-brekky nap.
Crikey Bertie ... S'pose we should just be thankful for what we got, aye? I get to go to the beach most days but I don't get to climb too many mountains like you do. I have to agree though. Humans can be very complex sometimes, aye? I LOVE snugglin' with Nan.
DeleteWhut a purdy sunrise... like Zaidie's momma, my momma would be more likely to stay up to see it than get up to see it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you and your Nan snugglin... awww......
Too funny Finley. My Mum can only just stay up long enough to watch the sun set. She likes to go to bed early but come morning and she's up and at 'em.
DeleteOMD - those photos are awesome!! What a beautiful site to start your day off with.
ReplyDeleteMomma was in a panic because she thought she had killed another computer when Blogger started messing up - BOL. Thank goodness it wasn't her THIS time...
We do try to start EVERY day with the sun rise Puffy but that was an exceptionally beautiful one, aye? We get lots of real pretty ones in winter.
DeleteThat's funny, Puffy. My Mum always thinks it's her fault too when something goes wrong on the computer thingies. She thought she killed dogster so when blogster started playing up she was sure it was her fault.
Thats a pretty sunrise there!! Looks like you had FUN!!
ReplyDeleteWags
Jazzi
It sure was Jazzi and we did have a fun morning
DeleteWhats an absolute stunnings beach! Almost as good lookings as you Charlie! I've just beens to the beach and it was pawsomes. You and ya Nan sure do looks conked outs. Hopes you sleep well and dream of meee...I've been dreamings of you every summer night...
ReplyDeleteYours always,
Enid xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Crikey Enid ... Where you been? Not with those ugly look in' black blokes, I hope! I've been doin' lots of dream in' about you Enid and sometimes I wake up very upset. Those geeky lookin' black blokes keep showin' up and spoilin' our fun. Did you read my post on the 23rd May. It's called my Enid's back. You can see how much I was dreamin' about you there. I sure hope those black blokes weren't at your beach with you. Finley got me all worried about those blokes. I'm not usually the jealous type but those black blokes ... Finley has some interesting theories there!
DeleteI've sure missed you Enid!
Love, Charlie xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
Wow! We love the photos! Our blogger dashboard was messed up for a couple days, but now works fine. Yesterday the internet was down in the whole area. Blah!! You never know how dependent you are on the internet until you don't have it! You keep on taking good care of Nan!
ReplyDeleteCrikey ... You're right! Things got a bit messy here for a while. Looks like it's back on track now, aye? You're also right about being dependent on the internet tie thingoe. It's crook when, even we four legged blokes, rely on it, aye?
DeleteCongrats, I has nominated ya for a Liebster Award - ya can check it out here: http://whitleywestie.blogspot.com/2014/06/liebster-award_26.html. Ya can play along if ya wants, but no pressure, da award are yours anyways.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Great nap!
ReplyDeleteGlad your blogger is back on track. The only problems we have had of late, is lots of crazy spam comments! Really Crazy!
Great pics! Snoozing is the best at all times. Mom's bamboozled that 24 hours ago she was in HK and now home. Crikey mate - so close...
