Crikey ..... I hate summer!! We get swamped with Mexicans. Everyone from down south comes up here and my beach is soooooooooooooo crowded there's hardly room for
ME!!!! How bad is that???? There's heaps more four legged doods to play with but there's some scary doods too. A bloke's gotta really keep his wits about him or he could end up with a chunk missing. It's the ones from the bush you've gotta worry about. Great big Bull Arab's that spend their days
AND nights chasing pigs through the scrub.
OH MY!! I steer clear of them.
I sure hope I see the summer out. You should see some of these blokes. My mate
Bacon or PoppyPooPoo Pants wouldn't stand a chance against one of them. Those heelers and kelpies can be mean too. I know ..... I know ..... I've got lots of mates that are working dogs but those blokes from the bush ..... fair dinkum ..... they've got no manners .....

there are strange looking guys on your beach... I never saw such animals... the one with the 87 legs is related with the mama.... they probably need both one million shoes. Crikey Aunty ... You got the first bit right but the bull Arabs are a dog the bushies use to hunt feral pigs. They are a cross breed. 50% British bull terrier, 25% greyhound and 25% German short haired pointer. They are humungous and mean and the bushies cart 'em about in cages on the back of their Utes..

ReplyDeleteThat's no crabby bloke Zoe. It's a jelly blubber. They both are. Just different types. Now don't ask me what a jelly blubber is cause I've no idea other than it's one of those blokes. They live in the ocean. These two blokes have washed up onto the shore and are dead. They can give you a nasty sting if they brush by you in the surf but they won't kill you. We've got one bloke in our tropical waters that will kill you. We don't swim there in summer.

But I am thinking, if you need a bodyguard to protect you against all those uncouth farm dogs, then I am totally up for it. I am even prepared to work for free (OK, maybe the occasional ice cream would be appreciated) and I'm sure Gail will be happy to cough up for the plane tickets for both us us.

That beach doesn't look very crowded to us. Maybe there are more peeps and pups than usual but it still seems like a fun place to go. We liked Yam Aunty's explanation of Mexicans and thought it wasn't exactly like the Mexicans we have here in the USA.

Oh Charlie, what a super beach ! That's not crowded - you should see ours in summer - you can't see the sand for the people AND dogs are not allowed anywhere near !! Isn't that terrible - we've never been on the beach at all, and never put our paws in the water !
