I'm alive and well!!

Crikey...... It's been FOREVER, aye??  A big apology from me to the ones of you that have been a tad worried.  I'm well and happy but Mum's got a few eye problems and we just can't be here too much. She doesn't want to go into all the boring details but we do want you to know that we are well and happy and will try and drop in from time to time. We've also changed over from Windows to Apple so that is a BIG challenge for her too.  I can't remember where we were at the last time I was around so I'll just show you a few pictures of the last few months for now and try and do better next time, aye??  I sure have missed being around all you blokes and sheilas. I've missed you a lot and will try and get to say g'day and catch up on as much gossip as I can from time to time.  One thing I did see was that Sarge is part LONG HAIRED DASCHUND!!!!!!!!!!  Fair dinkum?????????  OMD!!  Who'd have thunk that?????????  AND Bertie's in Switzerland or Germany or somewhere.  Crikey I can't wait to read about THOSE adventures.  I hope he didn't escape from any trains or anything.  Oh and Aunty ..... what the heck have you been getting up to??  I sure have some catching up to do. There's just so many of you that I've missed  ... HEAPS!!   Bella, Roxy and Dui .... How are you going??  Has Dui calmed down any yet??  Oh there's just too many to mention. Mr JF Sir????  I looked for you but it's been a while for you too, aye??  Jelly ..... have you disappeared again??  I've been seeing a few of you on the book of faces but for all the rest .... I'll catch up soon, aye??  Well on to some pictures if Mum can remember how to do it.

Ok so you've seen this one before but I thought maybe it would remind you just in case you'd forgotten.

Mum and Dad left me in my crate when they went out for 2 hours.  I showed 'em.   Nothings changed, aye??

We stayed on a farm for a bit of a holiday.  Look who I got up close and personal with.

We saw heaps of wombats at the farm. Here's me checking out one of their homes.

Yep ...... I still LOVE ice-cream. How good was this??  It wasn't my birthday!!

This bloke's been coming around for a feed most days.  He's so cheeky he'd come inside if I weren't in there.  Jo's getting bigger, aye??

Am I good looking' ??

Or what??

Oh and this was just the other day. Yep ..... they dressed me up AGAIN!!  Nothing's changed in my world, aye??

Wanna Run ... Love, Charlie.  (crikey I nearly forgot how I finished off there for a minute or two).

g'day Charlie mate!!! I recalled that mum was having da eye-trubs, so didn't get overly concerned, but is WEIRD that I was thinking about you this very week. Not least because I was looking through the lovely book you and mum gave me.

I just had a blogpal from Canada come visit with me for four days and I whisked here up around the NW of the Bonny Land.. those posts are only just started if you're interested to follow. Fudge was busy, but not excessive, cuz I had to keep both hands on the wheel. Some of the roads resembled mountain goat tracks.

I'sa coming to Oz again in February - but won't have as long this time (it's tacked onto a visit to India), so won't be able to fit in a QLD run this time. But I'll get in touch with mum and we maybe can have a natter on the blower...

Well mate, it is just fabby to see you out and about again. Catch you on the anon... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. We've been wondering where you were. This good weather makes that beach look great! Things are same-o same-o here. We don't think Dui will ever calm down....or Roxy. Fabulous to hear from you. Wombats are HER favourite Oz animals!

  3. I really am happy to hear from you Charlie but sad that Mum is having eye trouble. You really should behave yourself better you know. All that chewing in the crate. Just check in once in awhile so we know you're doing okay. I'm happy to be back in AZ. I've kind of attached myself permanently to Mom since Scooter died but it's okay.

Sorry about my grammar and stuff! I try but my Secretary's hopeless. She didn't have much of an education. She's just a coal miner's daughter.

    1. ZOE!!! .... Crikey Zoe ... You can holler at me all you like as long as you keep fluttering those peepers at me. Sorry for making you worry! I'm fine. It's Mum that's the problem. You sure got it right when you said peepholes are hard to handle. They're kinda delicate, aye? Well Mum's not delicate but she's got a few issues that are hard to deal with. She's fit as a Mallee bull though so that's good. I'm catching up slowly on what you've been up to lately. It's so good you got the innernets thingy and I like your latest haircut. You look very .... Mmmmmmm .... Can I say it??? You look very sexy Zoe. Crikey I hope you don't think I'm rood now!

  16. We are very happy to see you again Charlie! Glad to know you're doing well and the family too. Hope we get to see you more often now! Funny, ghostwriter sometimes shows her blogger friends' posts to her little old people at the nursing home. (They love to see all the doggies and kitty cats from all over the world!) The other day she was wondering why she hadn't heard from Charlie in so long. Then—surprise!—there you were!

  20. Great to see you here today, Charlie. Please tell your Mom we hope things get better soon for her and her eyes. We switched to Apple products a while ago and love it. It just takes some time but it is superb. And talk about changes, if you get to our place, you will see there have been some changes for us too, some not so good and some much better.

  22. Yo, Charlie!! Good to hear your woofs here again. Nothing much different here either...just me going rather deaf. Which makes pawppy tell me I don't listen...but petcretary tells him to use the hand signals she taught me when I was a spring chicken...(you know a wee pup...) But I think that at 14 1/2 I should be given the right to lay in the pathway or by their chair...whenevfur I want!

Look at you up there in that dapper chapeau!!

Your life fur sure is not boring...

I rip up beds too, but its when I dig to China to find the best comfy place in them, BOL!

Your gals are cute in their costumes.

Petcretary mostly only does a blog for the three of us together about once a week. Else she gets way too bogged down with chores and work and junk.

    Gotta go now! WOOFS!

  26. Hi Charlie, great to hear from you mate. Handsome as ever I see, and so brave getting up close and personal with that huge horse thing. (I tend to keep my distance and bark a lot when confronted with members of the equine species).
Oh and yes, I had a great time in Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Italy (not that I'm boasting or anything) and only went exploring foreign cities - Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt and Zurich - when attached to Gail with the walking string.
Take care and keep on enjoying the ice cream.

  27. Dear Charlie,

We are very happy to see your handsome face! Hurray!

That is a fabulous hat! The cowboy one, not the crazy red thing. Why do people do these things to us?

Have fun running! We are glad you are well.
