I'm BACK!!

Crikey it's been a while, aye??  Well occasionally is better than NEVER I s'pose.  Not much has been happening. Just the same old, same old!!  BUT ... we did have a good day at the beach yesterday.  We saw WHALES!!  BUT ..... Mum left her phone in the car so NO PICS so I s'pose you won't believe me. They were right in close to shore and they were breaching and tail flapping and everything.  Crikey it was something to watch.  I sure wish we had some photos.  We went to the river after that and Mum made sure she had her phone with her.  At dusk the rainbow lorikeets come home to the trees around the river to stay overnight.  OMD!!  The noise is deafening.  Thought you might like to hear what they sound like.   

But first a photo of me just so you don't forget what I look like, aye?? 
I sure hope this works. Mum's not good with getting videos on here.

    You know - Mom and dad have been looking at a retirement place up at Lake McDonald - near Cooroy - we could end up as neighbors :) Dad doesn't get the aussie concept that neighbors means anything within a 8 hour drive :)

    Charlie, not seen you out and about of late. Yes, your Mum's video placement skills suck. I believe you saw whales. You were wise to not try to chase them. Lorikeets, ever so pretty but they talk to each other way too much.

    Whales breaching??!! What a treat. SHE's only seen them moving slowly...if it weren't for the spout, would just look like a shadow! We saw lorikeets at the river yesterday, too. But SHE was too slow with the camera.

    You saw whales that is totally pawesome. I've never ever seen a whale before, not up close nor far away. Make sure mum always has her phone from now on.

    We hear the Lorikeets once on a TV show about Australia...for sure they would make this kitty run for cover.

      Crikey Jelly .... How are you? How's your Mom???? I've been soooooooooo worried about you. I've tried to find you on the book of faces and I did but I couldn't contact you there. I asked EVERYONE I knew from dogster if they had heard from you. I left messages on your blog. I was beside myself. Dear JENNIFER was my Harri and Lucy's very first friend on dogster. Mum was beside herself thinking something real bad had happened. OMD I'm so pleased to hear from you. We are good. Well Mum's not great but she's ok.     I just saw this post, Charlie, and guess what! Daddy took us fur a walk at our beach last week and we saw whales, too! Lots of them, and right close in, just like yours. We saw mostly backs and tails. And guess what else. Mommy didn't come with us, so no photos! Now no one will believe us, either! BOL!!

    Charlie - we haven't heard from you in forever. I sure hope everything is okay. I'm really lonely since Scooter died but Mom and Dad spend a lot of time loving on me which helps a little. Sure hope we hear from you.
