Big dog beach!!

Crikey I love winter.  The beach is always great but, somehow in winter, it's even better.   Well ...... not if you wanna go swimmin, but for walking and runnin' it's the best.  There's not so many people and the water is crystal clear.  It's just prettier somehow.  Soon we'll have whales to watch but right now we have heaps of dolphins.  They are at the beach in big numbers most mornings.  Mum loves watching them. We've been going to big dog beach lately (Hey Lisette .... do you remember this place?).  Mum loves to walk and you can walk for miles at big dog beach.  There's not as many dogs but I don't mind. I still go to little dog beach in the morning so I do get to see all my mates then. Mum took these photos over a few days. Hope you like 'em. Oh!  they look better if you biggefy them.

Just checkin' the surf conditions!!
Yep ...... it sure looks alright to me

See that headland right up there?   That's where little dog beach is.
This is the life, aye??

Gotta dig me up a crab or two, aye??

How pretty is this??
This was one day ..... and .....

This was the next!!!
Dad took this in the morning.  He's doesn't take many photos but he liked this one. Two of me. How good is that??

Oh and naturally he had to get one of me running ..... two of me again, aye?
Mum's been having trouble commenting on some of your blogs. Is there something going on?? It's the ones that come up on another page thingoe.  Sarge ..... yours was one she remembers and Mitch and Molly's was another. There were others too but she can't remember ....... sheesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Old peeps ........

Wanna run ..... love, Charlie.

  1. I totally agree, Charlie, the beach is more beautiful in the winter - here, too. Your beach is AMAZING and so are your pictures. I like the rainbow one and the ones with two of you!

  2. You are such a gorgeous dog. I love the picture of the two of you running. (By the way, this is Scooter's Mom). Scooter is sulking up in the bedroom because there weren't any rabbits to chase when she went out with Dad. And it looks more like you are trying to dig to China then to find a crab. Wish we were having some of your winter. It's going to be 110 here this week and that is so hard on little paws.

    1. Crikey Sandie ... I know it's you. Thanks for stopping by. How's Jim? You haven't died of boredom yet, aye? 110 ... That's way too hot. You can't chase rabbits in those temps. Best find a nice shady tree preferably with a hammock strung up in it and rest with a nice long drink.

  7. Stunning photos Charlie, especially that last one.
We agree that winter beaches are the best (although we suspect that your winter temperatures might still be warmer than our summer ones in Scotland. A high of 10ºC today, anyone?)

Wow - your dad can work the camera as good as mum, huh? That's a top shot!!!

Cookie had mentioned having a bit of trubs with the comments also - I have not thus far... but something noticed on the blog before this (Sasha's) is that after pressing publish, the box closed directly and for a second I wondered if it had not registered. I clicked comments again and when the box came up my words WERE there. It may just be that Google thought it was more efficient... so if that sounds like what you experienced, do try clicking the comments again and double check that in fact it hasn't taken. Another thing that happened on the popout box option, you may have noticed, is that the writing box is now at the bottom instead of side... a bit more like when commenting on the blog-embedded versions..... 28. That beach sounds incredible. Watching dolphins!!!! Wow, I've never done that. And I bet you run like the wind, Charlie. Big smiles to you!

  29. Charlie don't know why you would want to visit my Nati city when you live in that most beautiful place. Why I would never leave the beach. I have never walked on a beach, I so envy you. That seventh picture down of you standing so erect should be on a calendar. I am also having trouble on some sites, I figured it had something to do with Microsoft putting Internet Explorer out to pasture.
    Thanks for being a friend
