The Beach!!

We went to the beach this morning.  Crikey it was a pretty morning.

We saw Billy. Billy's a Scottie. He peed on Mum's foot. AGAIN!!!  He ALWAYS pees on Mum. What's with that?? We didn't get a picture. Mum was too busy washing her foot.  You'll have to settle for these, aye??

      My Mum's pretty laid back so she just takes it in her stride. Especially if it's a dog doing the peeing. Dogs can do no wrong in her eyes. Well ... most dogs ..... I seem to do a lot of wrong things.

    I once had a Blue Healer named Mingo, always peed on my friends foot or leg, never knew why and never did it to anyone else so if you can't tell us why no one can.

      Crikey Merle ...... I sure hope Billy Likes Mum. I think he does. He always makes a bee-line for her when he sees her AND THEN HE PEES ON HER!! Too funny.

    My, you were fast in that last one. It was -2° this morning....we didn't get to go for our walk until about 9:30.....we would have loved to run on your beach, AND no one would have peed on anyone.

      -2. CRIKEY!! It's cold here too but not THAT cold. Noosa is great in winter. You should come for a visit. You would love our beach and if you don't pee on Mum she would love to see you. We could RUN, aye?? AND roll in smelly stuff!!

    Well Charlie mate, that is a sunrise to be reckoned with!!!... but this urination thing is too. Either yer li'l mate is in a state of 'submissive urination' (dogs who are uncertain of their connection or 'place' void from excitement/fear), which would be identified by whether there are other submissive acts such as tail-tucking, head-lowering, belly-showing and such like... or he is definitely attempting to show who is boss and that may be determined more by whether or not neutering has taken place. That kind of marking is saying you are on m territory, if you want to be here, take this! In this case, it would happen with more than just your mum and the owner has clearly not understood the behaviour (or at least not early enough) in order to moderate it.

    Next time you see this particular critter, get mum to walk into the waves... rather than greeting it. Reasserting HER territory! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

      There's NOTHING submissive about Billy. He walks straight up to Mum, cocks his leg and goes for it. Dad and I find it VERY amusing. Mum's a good sport. She just laughs and THEN walks into the waves and washes her foot. She'll try your suggestion next time.

      My Mum loves that sound too. If she's feeling a bit low she goes to the beach and just sits. It ALWAYS makes her feel better.

    That's a dream of a morning on the beach... what a wonderful photo. Frosty, the huskie peed always on my granny as soon as she had one foot in our crib...and I do that when I meet my dad in the bathroom... but I always wait till he has his clothes on, of course :o)

    He peed on her foot?! Mya, used to pee on my grandma's feet when she would see because she would get so excited but would be jumping on her legs. It was an accident every time. That beach video was VERY relaxing. Feel free to post more ;) *ear licks* Noodle

      An accident???????? Well that's her story, anyway!!! The bureau of meteorology says the next few days are going to be perfect beach days. No wind, clear skies ...... Mum's going to take her camera. I'm sure there will be more photos and videos. Those were just taken on her phone.

    Our mom used to have a dog who peed on my mom's sister. That was the only person she ever did that to. Weird huh?

      It sure does. Mum didn't really mind getting peed on. I guess she's used to it. Billy sure makes a habit of it. She normally watches him like a hawk but the sunrise distracted her.
