Bellbirds!!

Remember ages ago I said I'd post a video of our Aussie bellbirds so you could hear them. Well Mum tried and tried and couldn't do it so gave up. She had another go today and IT WORKED or at least she thinks it works so if it has have a listen to this.   If it DOES work I'll be AMAZED but I've gotta give her credit for trying, aye?? So here goes ...... hopefully you'll be able to hear the bellbirds. Mum loves 'em. So do I. I do the head cocking thing when I hear them. Do any of you blokes do that head cocking thing when you hear different noises? I do it all the time.

video

Crikey ... I think she did it ..... the woman's a GENIUS! I take back everything I've ever said about her being hopeless.

Can you hear them??? Bellbirds!! How beautiful are they??

Wanna run .... Love, Charlie.

    1. Those cranes are beautiful Mr JF Sir .... I saw them dancing on someones blog. Was it yours or Coco Rose and Puffys? Oh .... Coco Rose .... I'm so sad for them still. We've got big grey birds called Brolgas that dance like that but the bellbirds are VERY special. They really do sound like bells, aye?

    2. I have them in my blog...an in My Dogster page called Freckles Specials.
Grolmy says she sees the cranes do synchronized flying, like a slow dance in the sky. They strut over the fields. And call loud songs & chatter to eachother.

  13. Howdy Charlie, fabo bird noises. We don't think we've ever heard that bird. Are they particular to Queensland? We don't do the cocking of the head thing when we hear something. We just bark, and bark, and bark, well you get the picture, ahahahahaha. Oh we're naughty.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
