Mum picked the two big girls up from school today. We went to the beach. Mum played ball with me while the little girls caught pippies.
I don't think their Mum is going to be too happy about the state of their uniforms. |
Jo's got the pippy collecting action working well. Izzi's bringing water in MY ball thrower. |
Yep ..... she's the mischief maker!! Where there's an Izzi there's TROUBLE!! |
BUT ..... then we saw this .....
Can you see it? It was such a bright, shiny light. AND THEN IT DISAPPEARED VERY QUICKLY! |
CRIKEY!!!!!!!!! A UFO ......... I'm outta here .......
Wanna run ..... love, Charlie.
Looks like your having a wonderful winter!

Sure doesn't look like a Montana winter. But I have to ask because mom told me to. What in the world are pippies?

Happy winter! That looks like a fun way to celebrate. Your little person looks like an athlete too, but I bet she can't run as fast as you can! (Running fast is good when there are UFOs around!)

Happy winter, Charlie. It's hot and humid here.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you were all having a lot of fun on the beach until the ufo whizzed by.
I cheated...and googled...Pippies are a kind of clam...Hmmm, not sure if I'd like those.
ReplyDeleteUFO?? Run fast Charlie, RUN!!
You beach in winter has nothing on the ice we see here at our beaches...OMD! I wanna be there with you, even if I can't run too swiftly anymore:)
Oh wow--I do see it! What a beautiful day at the beach, and then topped off by a UFO! Doesn't get much better than that.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the late reply. What the heck are pippies? We're imagining all kinds of beach type dwellers like clams or crabs of little fishies … Whatever they are, it looks like lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteWe think that bright light could be an airplane. We live fairly close to an airport and sometimes the sunlight catches a jet just so, and it lights up for a short time. We don't always hear the jet depending on which way the wind is blowing.
Oh, and we wish we had winter weather like yours instead of snow and ice and slush and storms!
We always enjoy seeing your posts!
Your winter must be kind of warm,,, It looks warm to me..
ReplyDeleteI do not see you shivering!
love

Wow wee, Charlie! You sure has fun and adventures at the beach! Happy First day of winter!
ReplyDeleteCrikey Charlie ~ You actually live in Noosa! My store introduced your yogurt, yoghurt, or yoghourt just this week. We love the tart rhubarb flavor. So you have a lot of Fermentation going on in Noosa aye?
ReplyDeleteBlogging makes the world smaller. Now every time I eat this I will think Charlie lives there.
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
I adore photos of dogs on the beach ! Thank you and hello!
ReplyDeleteEhm, we didn't see any pippies there you know. Not a single little girl in two different stockings and orange hair in plaits. So, we were wondering what pippies are in your neck of the beach?
ReplyDeleteMara and Brom from Norway
I see that perfectly round white dot. Once years ago Lee saw something ~ other people saw it also ~ the little airport saw it and it got reported to Project Blue Book, Project Blue Book was one of a series of systematic studies of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) conducted by the United States Air Force. We were never told the outcome. Now Lee started our week with Lemon Noosa we are mixing things up.
