It's Windy here!!

Crikey .... it was windy at the beach today.  None of my mates showed up so I had to play ball with Mum. I'm very good at chasing the ball.  I'm not very good at bringing it back though.

Can you see where I left the ball?
Maybe it's easier to spot here!
Mum made me sit in the wet sand!  What's with that? It's most uncomfortable.
I gave her a raspberry!  Eat your heart out Crockett!!
Crikey ..... now I'm in trouble .... she didn't tell me to 'go free'!!

Just so you know I do bring the ball back sometimes.
See it in my gob!!
There were heaps of these blokes at the beach.  They sure looked like they were having a good time.

Further up the beach they were like those bat blokes. There were sooooooo many of 'em.
When we got home guess who was there? Miss G.  We had to look after her for the day cause her Mummy and Daddy were at work. The other two girls were at school. It was a real good day.
Crikey she's growing up, aye??
AND getting all prim and proper.  She doesn't like going naked much anymore.
Wanna run .... Love, Charlie.

pee-ess ... please send all the POTP and love you can to my very special friend Whitley.  She's not at all well and her family and friends are all hurting pretty bad right now. I am too. I love Whitley so much!!  Her BFF Finley could do with some POTP too. Whitley has always been there for her and she doesn't want Whitley to go away.

  7. First thank you for telling us about Whitley. We stopped by with prayers. Here is something we learned: If you don't bring the ball back you have to sit in the wet spot

    1. Crikey ..... is that why she made me do it?? I'll make sure I bring the ball back next time. I hate sitting in the wet spot.

  8. That's pawesome you had the beach to yourself. I don't always bring the ball back either. I think it's more fun if mom chases after me. Miss G is growing like a weed she sure is a cutie.

    Aroo to you,

  9. Yes all of bloggerland as growlmy calls it are feeling evfur so sad...Whitley is such a precious good furend. I've known her since I started doing Dogster, (Dec, 2009). I think she was one of my furst furends there, if not the furry furst...

They are fur sure getting loads of my POTP, Sir Lick-a-Lot kisses and pawyers too.
Her whole furmily is so pawsome and wonderfur.
Growlmy is leaking rivers from her eyes...

I am a good ball chaser too...but then that ball is mine and you have to chase me to get it back...or I might deign to trade it fur another, BOL!!

Sorry you got a wet heinie, BOL!!

Miss G, OMD!! She *is* growing up!! But still evfur so sweet, eh?

    1. It's just too sad Mr JF Sir ..... Whitley and Finley were friends with Harri and Lucy before me so Mum's known them for a long time too Not as long as you though I don't think. My Mum's leaking all over the place too. It's funny how you can feel so close to someone you haven't met properly, aye?? BUT we have met really. Just in a different way. I reckon I know more about you than lots and lots of my mates that I see every day at the beach or the park. I'm sure Whitley is enjoying all those Sir Lick-a-lot kisses you are sending.
You run off with the ball?? Oh My ..... I don't. I just drop it as soon as I pick it up then I go back to Mom empty mouthed and she has to walk up to get it back. Good trick, aye?? She should thank me for exercising her.

  19. We get lots of wind here this time of the year too, but we don't have a nice seaside like that. We love those bat blokes but our favorite has to be the sweet blond bloke (if the little beauty will forgive us for calling her a bloke) - what a doll AND oh those eyes!!!

  21. Can't believe you had to sit in the wet sand fur a picture. I don't blame you fur giving her the raspberry tongue.

  22. We hardly recognized Miss G! That beach looks wonderful!! We join you in concern about Whitley.

  23. Does the sand blow in your eyes when it's windy st the beach Charlie? I find it most irritating. Oh and I don't believe in bringing the ball back either, in fact, after a couple of throws I can't really be bothered running after it at all. Sniffing stuff is so much more interesting. (Did you come across any decomposing fish at the beach? They are the best,)
    Toodle pip!
    Bertie.
Ps We too are keeping dear Whitley in our thoughts.

    1. It sure does Bertie unless it's low tide and we go right down near the water. It's ok there. Rotten fish is good Bertie but I like dead birds myself.

I don't bring the Ball back either. I would LOVE to have the whole Beach to myself though!

  25. I think you were just giving your mum some exercise. William does that with us, he will chase the tennis ball, but not bring it back and waits for us to collect it. lol
