Crikey ..... it's the end of the earth!!!!!!
Fair dinkum ..... it's gotta be!! It's the end of the earth, I'm telling you .... listen to this:-
This very morning Mum slept in. I was pretty tired so I didn't complain and besides I'm not really a morning person. BUT ..... then ..... when Mum did get up she hardly even said hello to me. Just started CLEANING!! I was shocked to say the least. So was Dad!! What the heck got into her. It's SUMMER ...... not SPRING!!!! AND we didn't go to the beach. I ALWAYS get to go to the beach .... every morning, seven days a week, 365 days a year. If Mum doesn't take me Dad does but he's just had a knee replacement so he's out. For goodness sake ..... what's going on?? When they took me on they promised to take me to the beach every day. Summer, winter, autumn, spring, rain, hail or shine. I was shattered. I always have yoghurt when we get BACK from the beach. Mum hand feeds it to me, off a spoon. It's a very special time for us. She told Dad to give it to me. She told him what to do. What was she thinking????? I refused to eat it. I might NEVER eat, EVER again!!
It's the end of the earth, I'm telling you .....
Wanna run, Love Charlie.

Cleaning is one of those long 4-letter words. Did she take out all those loud machines and scary things on sticks...brooms, mops... She's going to get rid of all those luscious Charlie smells, mate. Want us to call the RSPCA?
ReplyDeleteOh, no. That's not right.well, we hope tomorrow will rectify the matter...double beach time and a whole dish of the yogurt!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope you get to go tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteOh Charlie mate... methinks you maybe have to pawpare yourself for an invasion; unseasonal cleanings almost certainly herald the arrival of more peeps!!! If I were you I would EAT EFFURYTHING... you're going to need the strength... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Is family coming to visit, it usually means lots of lovely things to eat so not all bad.
ReplyDeleteMerle..................
Charlie... I'm afraid you are right.... crazy things happened in my crib too... the woman walked on 4 legs like me and tortured the carpet with a sponge... we better wear a tinfoil cap huh?
ReplyDeleteMY goodness is a Cats-ass-trafie, hope you get to the beach tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGet out there and run..
That is terrible. No beach! Yogurt from the wrong person . . . the world is ending.
ReplyDeletePoor Charlie - we are think the Christmas Silly Season has got to your Mom - hopefully she will be back to normal soon
ReplyDeleteWe understand totally. Every weekend Dad gets out the screaming dragon machine (the shop vac) Since he's retired and ghostwriter isn't, Dad has to do all the housework. Ghostwriter doesn't care how he does it, or if he uses his power tools from the garage instead of a regular vacuum cleaner. As long as it gets done! W're sure things will be back to normal soon Charlie. Happy Christmas to you and your wonderful family!
ReplyDeleteNo Santa is coming silly

OH NO CHARLIE YOUR MOM STAY CLEAR I THINK THE WHITE TORNADO IS VISITING YOUR HOUSE. THAT IS WHAT MOM CALLS IT WHEN SHE GETS ON A CLEAN BINGE. HIDE AND WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T STAY IN ONE PLACE TO LONG OR SHE WILL START TO DUST YOU AND VACUUM YOUR FURS.
ReplyDeleteFOR SURE IT WILL BE OVER SOON
HUGS YOUR MATEY MADI SUFFERING THROUGH THE SAME TORMENT. I HATE THE SUCKY MONSTER
Is she an imposter like my dad is right now, or are you having company???? We wanted to tell you yesterday my mom was driving through a small town not far from where we live, and she spotted and elder greyhound just like you Charlie ONLY he lived outside and was in a fence but it was full of high grass, and all of his ribs stuck out. Now mom knows you greyhounds can be on the slender side but this dog was more than skinny and it made her so worried and upset she called the sheriff to ask him to check on his safety. We don't know what happened but it made us all feel very sad. stella rose
ReplyDeleteYour mum is cleaning the house for Christmas Charlie, did n't you know. I hate it too, but fortunaterly she has never forgotten to go out for our walk in the morning, I think your mum overslept herself. When I'm angry with my mum cleaning the house I always have a fight with the hoover, like that.

ReplyDeleteWe are also wondering what's going on - there has been a lot of cleaning going on around here too:) What's up????
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
What the woof has she lost her mind! She has a binding contract to take you to the beach everyday. I'd pee on her side of the bed!
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
OMD...What ever was SHE thinking?? You are ever so much more important than a silly thing like a clean house!!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Oh my poor Charlie! Don't worry abouts the cleaning thing - I mean, it is terrifying when my Hoomans gets out that loud Henry-hoover-thingy...but it doesn't last forever and I'm sure your peoples won't neglect your morning walkies and yogurt treat fur long! I hopes it all gets backs to normal and you have a very Merry Christmas filled with love, licks and (of course) lots of FOOD!
ReplyDeleteDreaming of you,
Your Enid xxxxxxxxxxxx
Crikey Enid ..... it's not the end of the world any more. You're here. It's so good to hear from you. We've had a bit of a hard year and haven't been around much and nor have you but I ALWAYS feel you are thinking of me and I'm ALWAYS thinking of you. I did have a great Christmas, Enid. There was lots of love, licks and kisses at our house and lots and lots of yummy food. The icecream was the best part though. I sure hope you, your pesky little sister, and your family had a wonderful Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteAlways your Charlie xxxxxxxxxxx
