Crikey ..... what a BIG beak you have???

Before we headed off to Sydney the little girls came over to see how I was.  They were VERY worried about me.  While they were outside munching on iceblocks we had a few visitors.  The little girls wanted to feed 'em. Crikey ...... what BIG beaks they had??  Mum didn't know what to feed them but knew they liked fish. The only fish we had in the house was MY sardines so Mum gave them those. MY sardines.  Hmmmmmmph!!   They LOVED it.  Who knew pelicans would eat sardines out of a tin??
The little girls had a lot of fun!!  So did I ...

No Miss G ..... they don't want your iceblock!!

I'll get rid of 'em for you!!

Hmmmmmph!!  They locked ME inside!!!  What's with that????

Whooee ........ good catch!!  BUT how could you miss with a gob that big??

This bloke thought he was going to miss out.  He didn't!!

No Miss G.  I told you they don't like iceblocks.

Weird lookin', aye??

Well they didn't laugh like that for too long.  I got let out and I told them a thing or two.  Eating MY sardines. The hide of 'em!!
Wanna run ...... Love, Charlie.

  7. Don't starve, Charlie!
So now you need a bucket of sardines as a payment for letting those (cute and clumsy) pelicans gobble your stash.
And a gallon or more of ice cream to make up fur the birthday pawrty fiasco.

And why on earth would you need to be crated/locked away?
Wait, I have heard something bout how you chase varmints...and maybe that is why I too can't be outside of my yard except om a leash...
    So just bark em good!!

    Woofs!

    1. You're right Princess. Those little girls were in such great danger without me there to protect them. Those pelican blokes don't worry too much about what goes into their gigantic gobs and those little girls have no fear.

  11. Your sardines?? What a nerve! Did they at least ask you???

The only birds with big beaks we have around here are curlews. But they just eat insects I think! They are only here for the summer and they have a really strange call. Oh, and their beaks are curved!! How weird is that?

    1. Nope they didn't ask. Just took MY sardines, locked me inside and off they went. What a nerve indeed!!!!!!

  15. Sure glad we don't have to share our food with any of those strange looking things. Doxie's are not very good about sharing any kind of food. Boy you sure spend a lot of time in lock up. Mom wouldn't dare lock me up - I really can bark.
