Notme!!!!!!!!!

Crikey ... how bad is this????? At the beach yesterday arvo I saw one of my best mates Boof. He's a red heeler and a real good bloke. Quite aptly named as it turns out. Now I hadn't seen Boof for quite sometime so I was ever so pleased to see him. We had a good run while Mum and Dad talked to his owner to find out where she had been hiding. Well ..... listen to this .... turns out she hadn't been to the beach with Boof for so long because the last time she was at the beach she broke her leg. How did that happen? Well don't look at me!!!!! But it went something like this. I was running around like a maniac as I usually do and Boof was chasing me. I ran straight for Boof's Mum and at the last minute dodged around her. Now Boof was so intent on chasing me that he had eyes only for me .... didn't even see his Mum and BANG straight into her he went. She went down like a ton of bricks but we all thought she was ok. So  did she and managed to walk off the beach. Well ... turns out she wasn't ok at all. A BROKEN leg .... fair dinkum .... that's no fun. I think somehow that it was all my fault .... I feel sooooooooooo bad!!!! To make matters worse while Mum and Dad were talking to Boof's owner we kept running back to them at a million miles an hour again and EVERYONE was very nervous. They ended up sitting down on the sand. Less distance to fall, aye??? I liked their thinking. Please tell me it wasn't my fault. Can I blame Notme? .... No!! .... I didn't think so. Crikey I feel sooooooooooo bad!!!!

Wanna run ... Love, Charlie.

  1. No way was it your fault. The peeps are always getting in OUR way at the river. Now they usually stand next to a car or sit on the back of the ute. Anyway, all fixed now.

XXXOOO Bella & Roxy (who is sometimes called boofhead.)

    1. Crikey ... Don't think they'll let us drive the ute down on the beach.. I know you're in Australia Bella and Roxy ... What river do you get to run in? You said you were inland, aye?

  2. A tree would work, too...um though not at your wide open beach, BOL!

Maybe the peeps need to bring a portable pen to stand in to give protection from you lively pups...

Glad that your lady friend will be OK, and it seems she has forgiven you pups:)

  7. Now let's look at this logically, the humans took you to the beach to run around and have a good time - right? There were other pups out there enjoying themselves and one of them just happened to be your pal Boof. You and Boof engaged in a wild game of tag and in your zeal for fun, you went running towards the humans as they stood around yapping. Your navigation skills were spot on and you were able to avoid the collision, but Boof misjudged the course and collided right into his momma's leg (OUCH)!

Now if you were two humans racing cars on a highway and one managed to crash and injure someone, you would BOTH be held accountable and punished. However, since you are both dogs, out having fun, the humans should have been paying more attention to what was occurring and MOVED to avoid contact. I say it wasn't your fault or Boof's, the error in judgment fall to the humans - case closed.

Finley and Whitley - did I win the court case?

Coco Rose - trying to prove she is more than just a pretty face.

  13. Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Oh no! I run and don't look and people's legs get in the way and sometimes they fall down and then they get mad. But no one has ever broken anything! I hope your friend's person is going to be better soon! (Maybe I should start watching where I am going?) (Or maybe the people should just move their legs out of the way of my running!)

  17. Hi Charlie! It's nice to meet you. We just visited with your sweetie Enid and thought we'd come see the handsome fellow that drew her a heart in the sand. You are way to sweet to run into someone and break their leg. I'm certain that it was "Notme's" fault!
